After working for 20 years in international
banking and the insurance industry,
Marcelo Schor decided to "get out of
the rat race" and stop the insanity of
commuting three hours, to spend
more time with his family and start
his own business, Amidax Trading
Group, in 1999. 
Después de trabajar por 20 años en
la industria bancaria y de seguros, Marcelo Schor decidió "parar el mundo y bajarse" e inicio Amidax Trading Group. De esta manera,
las tres horas de viaje, ida y vuelta hacia la oficina fueron eliminadas,
y reemplazadas con viajes a Europa , Sud América y Medio Oriente,
que realmente lo hacen sentir feliz.


Lucy Schor, worked for thirteen years
for an archaeological consulting firm,
and decided to leave that "rat race" in
March, 2000, in order to help Marcelo
with the growing demands of ATG.
Lucy Schor, trabajo por los últimos
13 años en una firma arqueológica en
la ciudad de Trenton, en el Estado
de New Jersey, y según ella
no veía las horas para poder
dejar su firma de consultaría y ponerse a
trabajar en Amidax Trading Group. 
 

Marcelo, Lucy and their two teen-aged children,
Jessica and Peter -- along with Pancho, the
German Shepherd; Quinton, the Springer Spaniel;
and cats, Tiki and Charlie Parker -- live in a
275-year old farm house with a smoke house and
barn, which they renovated for their office. The
office overlooks several acres of woods and fields,
with deer, wild turkeys, ground hogs (moan groan), and an
occasional fox or two, all which give great moments of
distraction from office work.
Marcelo, Lucy y sus dos niños, Jessica y Peter, junto con Pancho el Ovejero Alemán, Quinton el Springer Spaniel, dos gatos, Tiki y Charlie Parker, viven en una casa de mas de 275 años, con sus graneros, establos  y su aire histórico. Después de un año y medio transformaron uno de los establos, y lo convirtieron en la sede de Amidax Trading Group. 
 

When they moved into their house,
there was a foot of water from heavy rains in the basement.  A friend told them to try Makes No-Scents to get rid of the mildew and damp, musty stinkies wafting up the stairs. Lo and behold!  No more smells. They thought this was the greatest product since sliced bread, and wanted to tell the world about it. TA DA…here they are, helping to make little corners of the world stink-free.
Las oficinas miran hacia varias hectáreas de bosques y campos,
en los cuales se pueden observar a ciervos pastando, pavos salvajes y
alguno que otro zorro, lo que provee con momentos de distracción.

Marcelo was born in Argentina, moved to
Israel in his teens, and after traveling and
living in various parts of the globe, settled
in the United States in 1980. In May 2000,
he became a naturalized American citizen,
and is looking forward to getting the first
stamp in his new passport!  The travel bug
will never die in him. Also, in 1998, he
decided to embark on fulfilling a life-long
desire to study Psychology, which he
is doing in his "spare time".
Cuando los Schor se mudaron a su casa, se encontraron
con un metro de agua que cubría el subsuelo construido
de piedra local.  Una vez que eliminaron el problema del
agua se encontraron con un amigo que les recomendó,
ya que el olor de agua estancada era
terrible. El producto se hizo cargo del mal olor, saco el
moho y pudimos finalmente poner nuestros vinos a donde
corresponde. 

 

After spending a day working, studying, and mowing the fields,
Lucy and Marcelo have been known to get into a feisty tennis match, with the loser having to cook dinner!
Desde ese momento, Marcelo y Lucy se
dedicaron a distribuir y exportar Makes No Scents,
entre feroces partidos de tenis.
