Ceramiclean® Tile & Grout Cleaner Daily/Weekly

Grout Lock™ Aerosol Grout Sealer Every 1-3 Years
CLEANING CERAMIC & PORCELAIN TILE FLOORS: (Daily-Weekly)
Product: Ceramiclean®
Remove all abrasive debris from the floor surface.
Mix 1-2 ounces of Ceramiclean per gallon of warm water.
With a clean bucket and clean rayon or sponge mop, apply the Ceramiclean to the surface.
Let the solution dry.
Rinsing is only required for heavily soiled surfaces
SEALING TILE & GROUT: (Every 1-2 years)
Product: Stone Spray-N-Seal®
Surface must be dry for 6-12 Hours.
Clean countertops with Clean Encounters® or Marbamist®. For Floors, use Marbalex®.
Cover surrounding areas that are not intended to be sealed.
Liberally spray the surface until it is wet.
When the surface begins to dry within 3-5 minutes, wet the surface again with the sealer.
After 30 minutes, wipe off any excess sealer with a clean and dry white terry cloth or towel.
You can also apply the Stone Spray-N-Seal® to the grout to prevent dirt from penetrating into the grout.
SEALING GROUT: (Every 1-3 years)
Product: Grout Lock™
Allow newly applied grout to cure overnight before applying sealer.
Clean existing grout thoroughly before sealing.
Test in an inconspicuous place for compatibility and satisfactory seal by seeing if water beads on the surface.
SHAKE CAN WELL BEFORE USING.
Invert can and point nozzle away from you; aim it at the grout line from a height of 10-15 inches.
Press the nozzle and spray along the grout line, avoiding excess sealer that may result in pooling or residue.
If pooling occurs, it is best to remove with a cloth while wet. (A cloth dampened with warm water will easily wipe up residue when it is dried).
Apply a second coat after 30 minutes for best protection.
At least one hour after sealing, apply a drop of water to the grout. If it does not bead up and is absorbed, another coat should be applied.
* The floor may be walked on when dried to the touch and full cure is achieved in 24 hours.
* Depending on traffic and wear, sealer may need to be reapplied after 1-3 years.

Product: Marbamist® or Clean EnCounters®
Simply spray Marbamist or Clean EnCounters on to the stone surface.
Wipe off the cleaner with a clean and dry terry cloth or paper towel.
POLISHING & ADDITIONAL WATER REPELLENCY: (Monthly)
Product: International Stone Polish®
Shake the bottle before using and apply the polish to the stone surface with a clean, dry and white terry cloth towel.
Let the polish dry to a haze for 2 minutes.
Wipe off the haze with a clean, dry and white terry cloth towel.
REMOVING DULL SPOTS, WATER SPOTS, & WATER STREAKS:
Product: Marbacream®
Shake the bottle until the Marbacream thickens.
Apply water to the marble surface and then apply the Marbacream to a piece of a red buffing pad.
Begin buffing the marble surface in a circular motion while applying pressure.
Apply more water as needed and stop buffing when the marks are removed.
Rinse with Marbamist.
Apply one coat of International Stone Polish.

Removing Glass Rings & Dull Spots

CLEANING: (Daily to Weekly)
Product: Marbamist® or Clean EnCounters
Simply spray Marbamist or Clean EnCounters on to the stone surface.
Wipe off the cleaner with a clean and dry terry cloth or paper towel.
**For Bathrooms, use Counterrific™ Disinfectant instead of Marbamist or Clean EnCounters.
REMOVING GLASS RINGS & DULL SPOTS: (As Needed)
Product: Marbacream®
Clean the surface with Marbamist or Clean EnCounters.
Shake the Marbacream bottle until the product thickens.
Add a few drops of water to the damaged area.
Apply a dab of Marbacream to the damaged area.
With a clean and damp red buffing pad or white terry cloth towel, begin buffing in a circular motion for 30 seconds. (Be sure to apply pressure when polishing.)
**Repeat steps 2-5 if the polish is not achieved.
***If the surface is rough to the touch, Honex must be used before the Marbacream.
Rinse with either Marbamist or Clean EnCounters and wipe it dry.
Apply one coat of International Stone Polish to complete the process.
(Do not apply the International Stone Polish to floor surfaces.)
POLISHING & ENRICHING COLOR: (Monthly)
Product: International Stone Polish®
Shake the bottle before using and apply the polish to the stone surface with a clean, dry and white terry cloth towel.
Let the polish dry to a haze for 2 minutes.

CLEANING: (Daily to Weekly)
Product: Marbamist® or Clean EnCounters®
Simply spray Marbamist® or Clean EnCounters® on to the stone surface.
Wipe off the cleaner with a clean and dry terry cloth or paper towel.
STAIN REMOVAL: (As Needed)
Product: Select the correct stain remover.
Identify the type of stain and select the correct SCI Poultice Powder.
Clean area first with distilled water.
Mix the pultice with water to create a thick peanut butter consistency.
Apply the poultice over the stained area only.
Cover the paste with plastic wrap.
*Put a few pin holes in the plastic wrap.
Once the paste has hardened, remove the plastic wrap.
Gently remove the dried paste with a plastic scraper.
Reseal area with Stone Spray-N-Seal®. |

Stone Spray-N-Seal® Seals Stone & Grout Every 1-2 Years
Grout Lock™ Aerosol Grout Sealer Every 1-3 Years
SEALING STONE & TERRAZZO FLOORS: (Every 1-2 years)
Product: Stone Spray-N-Seal®
Surface should be dry for 6-12 hours before sealing.
Clean countertop surface using Marbamist or Clean EnCounters. For stone floors, clean with Marbalex. (It is safe to lightly clean the stone before sealing.)
Cover surrounding areas that are not intended to be sealed.
Liberally spray the entire surface until it is wet. (Outer edges may dry quicker.)
When surface begins to dry within 3-5 minutes, wet the surface again with the sealer. (This will allow the sealer to properly penetrate and cure.)
After 30 minutes, wipes off excess sealer from the surface with a clean and dry white terry cloth towel.
If excess dries on the surface, spray more sealer onto the surface and wipe off immediately with a clean dry terry cloth towel. For large stone floors, excess can be buffed off with a clean white buffing pad or an all cloth bonnet pad.
Use the same above sealing procedure for:

- SEALING FLAMED GRANITE & TUMBLED MARBLE SURFACES

SCI-TZ Terrazzo Polishing Powder™ Restores Polished Terrazzo floors As Needed
SCI-M2 Marble Polishing Powder™ Restores Polished Marble floors As Needed
POLISHING TERRAZZO FLOORS:
Product: SCI TZ Terrazzo Polishing Powder™
Polishing with an Automatic Scrubber:
Dust mop the surface using a Dust Mop.
Remove all topical coatings with STONE STRIPPER.
(Solvent based coatings must be removed with a solvent based stripper.)
Wet mop the stone surface using MARBALEX.
Install a hogs hair or a white pad to the drive pad of the machine.
Generously spray water to the floor surface not to exceed a 16 square foot area.
Sprinkle an SCI POWDER on to the wet surface.
*(Two tablespoon of powder per 16 square feet)
Proceed forward and backward with the scrubber staying within the perimeter of the wet area.
Use a squeegee to move the loose paste off of the work surface to see if the desired polish has developed. If it has not, push the paste back onto the work area.
Continue the buffing motion until the desired polish appears.
(DO NOT BUFF AREA FOR MORE THAN THREE MINUTES).
Extract the paste with the scrubber vacuum.
Rinse with MARBALEX to neutralize any residues.
Buff with a clean and soft white polishing pad.
*For heavily worn surfaces, HONEX HONING POWDER must be used to smooth the surface prior to using the polishing powder.
Polishing with a Manual 175 Low RPM Buffing Machine:
Dust mop the surface using a Dust Mop.
Remove all topical coatings with STONE STRIPPER.
(Solvent based strippers must be removed with a solvent based stripper.)
Wet mop the stone surface using MARBALEX.
Install a soft white polishing pad to the drive pad of the machine.
Generously spray water to the floor surface not to exceed a 16 square foot area.
Sprinkle SCI POWDER on to the wet surface creating a loose paste.
*(Two tablespoon of powder per 16 square feet.)
Proceed by operating the machine in a left to right sideward pattern completing 4 to 6 passes per section. This will change the powder and water mixture into a loose paste. Stay within the perimeter of the wet area.
After completing the initial passes, apply a fresh and dry white pad on to the machine and buff the paste directly into the surface.
(DO NOT BUFF AN AREA FOR MORE THAN THREE MINUTES)
As the haze begins to dry, spray more water to reduce the friction of the machine. Buff until the haze is completely gone.
Rinse with MARBALEX to remove any remaining residue.
Buff with a clean and soft white buffing pad.
*For heavily worn surfaces, HONEX HONING POWDER must be used to smooth the surface prior to using the polishing powder.
**For Polishing Granite Surfaces, Follow The Above Procedures Using An SCI Granite Powder with a hogs hair pad.*
POLISHING TERRAZZO TABLETOPS, VANITIES, WALLS, COLUMNS:
Product: SCI TZ Terrazzo Polishing Powder™
Remove loose debris from the stone surface and spray clean with MARBAMIST®.
Strip off any remaining topical coating.
Cover all wall coverings and carpeted areas.
Use a white felt pad on the hand machine or use a damp terry cloth towel when polishing by hand.
Generously spray water to the floor surface not to exceed a 16 square foot area.
Spray water onto the surface
Sprinkle SCI POWDER onto the water to create a paste.
Begin buffing by hand in a circular motion for 30 seconds or use a hand machine at LOW RPM keeping the surface moist at all times.
Remove the paste with a squeegee before it dries to see if the desired polish has appeared. If not, push the paste back onto the surface and begin polishing again until the polish occurs. (Buffing action may take thirty seconds to three minutes to create a shine or repair |
Color Enhancing Tumbled Marble

Stone Color Enhancer® Enhancing/Sealing Tumbled Stone Every 2 Years
CLEANING FLOORS:
Product: Marbalex®
Mix 2 ounces of Marbalex per one gallon of clean water.
Using a clean rayon mop or sponge mop, apply the solution to the floor surface.
Let the solution dry. (There is no rinsing required.)
*For disinfecting, use Counterrific™.
DAILY CLEANING COUNTERTOPS:
Product: Marbamist®
Simply spray the Marbamist to the surface.
Wipe off with a clean and dry towel.
*For areas with heavy grease, let the Marbamist set for 30 seconds and then wipe off. A second application may be needed.
*For disinfecting, use Counterrific.
COLOR ENHANCING TUMBLED MARBLE SURFACES:
Product: Stone Color Enhancer®
Be sure that the surface is completely clean and dry before applying it to the surface.
Apply Stone Color Enhancer to a clean and dry white terry cloth towel or pour it into a solvent-resistant spray bottle.
Apply the Stone Color Enhancer evenly to the surface wetting small areas at a time without making puddles.
Apply a second application five minutes after the first and let it dry.
Do not let the surface get wet for 24 hours after the sealer application.
Maintain the surfaces with the appropriate SCI Cleaner.
(SCI recommends not using rollers when applying the Stone Spray-N-Seal® or Stone Color Enhancer)
